Day 2

Two days in!  Yay!  Salad two days in a row for lunch!  Hey, this is big for me.  I haven't had withdrawl headaches yet, and I think it's because of fruit like Karen said.  I've had just enough to have a slower let down.  And I'm fine with that.  I only had 2 Mamabars yesterday and that was because I was determined to report that I had not had 3.  So this reporting thing is working!  I'm going to have 1 or none today.  But I did have Monkey salad again yesterday afternoon.  It was such a blissful moment.  I waited until I was genuinely hungry between meals, it was around 3:00.  I made a nice bowl of bananas, cashews, coconut and almond butter.  I went into a room by myself, and ate it slowly.  It felt no nice.  No children bugging me, no rushing.  It felt like food meditation.  Totally hit the spot too.  Didn't snack on anything the rest of the day.  I will try to get to the point where it's just an occasional treat, not an everyday thing.  But man, it's made this easy!
